Cooking Fail

Here is today's cooking fail.  I was making short ribs for the first time.  I've seared the beef and the recipe says to pour a bottle of wine into the dish next.  As I am pouring (hot dish, room temperature wine), the dish explodes.  Glass everywhere.  It made it all the way across the apartment.

  3. Oh man! I had the same exact thing happen once!It was shocking and dramatic, and not in a good way.

  4. Talking with my Mom today, I found out that this is a common problem among newer glass baking dishes... they explode suddenly. What a fail glass dish companies!
